  I used Quirks to sell my parents home in Billericay and was very satisfied with the service provided by Charlotte and her team, particularly Kiri and Jacqui. Right from the start they were very straight and upfront with us and kept us well informed at very stage. They also were very helpful in providing recommendations for specialists to undertake a number of difficult but essential tasks such as house clearance and cleaning services. We could not have asked for a more professional standard of service or customer care.

  Very poor real estate agency with staff who talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Wouldn't recommend Quirks to any landlords wanting property management services! Before signing up for their management services we explicitly discussed with Andrew the issues we had with previous agencies being careless with our properties. We were assured that Quirks were different and we should trust them in the services they provide. Andrew seemed professional and responsible. We used Quirks for three years to manage our rental property in Wickford for convenience as we live outside of the UK. Throughout those three years we had to repeatedly follow up simple outstanding issues and questioning why contractors had not been arranged. In the last 12 months of the contract, our tenants would reach out to us because things were not being done by Quirks. The management services became a waste of money! Our contract finished at the end of January 2023. After the contract finished, it came to my attention (from my tenant and NOT Quirks) that there was an outstanding task to be completed at the property. This was something I had requested two months prior. I phoned Quirks to understand the situation only to be asked by Sarah if I was “calling for an argument” who became very defensive and unhelpful. After requesting a managing partner to contact me to discuss the mismanagement of the property, no phone call took place despite confirmation this would happen from Andrew; and since, no follow up courtesy email from Andrew regarding the still outstanding communication. All in all, it appears the team and management have 100% interest in taking their management fees from you, yet have zero interest in following through with their responsibilities in managing your investment. Don't waste your money!

  Making the decision to sell my home after so many years was not easy but with the benefit of Quirks’ sound and sensible advice, patiently provided by Lee and James, it seemed that the time was right. The marketing details for my house were well presented with excellent photos and the house was on the market within days. Lee politely suggested that I make myself scarce and leave the viewings to him! He did a great job and a sale was quickly agreed. Jacqui researched the chain and let me know where each transaction stood which was reassuring. Kiri then took over the sales progression and she was brilliant! Liaising with buyers, agents and solicitors (some of them less than helpful), she helped push things along, keeping me fully informed of progress all the way through. As expected, there were glitches and delays but her tenacity and resourcefulness were outstanding. Kiri, you’re a star! My experience was that Quirks work as a team, professional, competent and communicative, delivering what they promise and always with good humour. Local business at its best and I thoroughly recommend them.

  Absolutely first class from start to finish. If I could award six stars I would! Every member of the team has shown genuine interest in both making, and progressing the sale of my property. In particular, James worked hard to promote the sale, and, once the sale was agreed, Kiri worked tirelessly to ensure it all went through smoothly. I have used several of the other local estate agents, but none match up to Quirks. Thoroughly recommended!
