Exactly what we needed coming from the big smoke haste! Dawn & Jessie were so welcoming and chatty. The Tipi was situated in a stunning part of the world, off the beaten track. The farm shop does the best sausages I've ever had! We took bicycles which was a brilliant idea that made our short journey into Margate and over to Broadstairs a bloody lovely one! Deffo gonna be regulars here.

Me and my partner stayed here 20/09/21-22/9/21 and we were quite disappointed due to the amazing reviews. I was 10 weeks pregnant at the time and the tent we were put in was absolutely covered in black mould and a health hazard. I attached a picture below but it doesn't do it justice, it was all over the tent around us. The business owners were absolutely lovely and overall area was nice but I believe this shouldn't have been overlooked. For £180 I really expected better. I've never been one to leave bad reviews but was so disappointed.

Being glamping novices we didn't quite know what to expect but greatly enjoyed it. So much was provided by the host- towels, camp chairs, washing up liquid, dish towels, toiletries, hot water bottles, torches,... Everything about the tent was really nicely and thoughtfully done. Supremely comfortable. Quex estate has a ton of stuff for kids to do - soft play, several play zones (all with admission fee), a riding school, cafes, all a stone's throw away. We could have well stayed several more days and not got bored.

We had such a lovely time staying in this beautiful bell tent. The tent was cosy and the bed comfortable with lots of warm blankets. There are charging points in the tent, but bear in mind, there's no mains suitable for hairdryer. The horsebox bathroom was cute with toiletries and lots of towels. The shower itself was rudimentary but nice and hot. The kitchen was well equipped with a little camping stove. Dawn and her staff were welcoming and the site was kept nice and clean. Quex Park was a good place to spend time. There's a really good farm shop and restaurant. There's some little craft shops selling hand made goods. We also enjoyed a round of crazy golf. Minnis Bay is a short drive (30 min walk) away, with good beaches and cafes/pubs.
