    Always a warm welcome. I have been coming here since I was a child and the lovely dispensing optician out the front still remembers me and asks after my family. She knows her stuff when it comes to frames and will always guide you to the right style. I'm really pleased with their Covid response too. Full PPE and any frames you try on are put aside to be washed when you are finished. A lovely little opticians and you dont feel pushed and prodded around and forgotton about like the big High Street brances.

    Best avoided In 50 years of wearing glasses, this is the only opticians where I've ever had to take a pair of glasses back because they weren't as good as my existing pair. To be fair to them, they did offer a full refund on the varifocals I returned, which I wish I'd taken now. Instead, I opted for a pair of bifocals, on the grounds that these are much simpler and no one could possibly get them wrong. I was told I would be informed when they were ready (I wasn't). What really annoyed me though was the repeated insistence that I didn't know what I was talking about. Then it turns out that even the bifocals aren't as good as a pair that I got off the internet a couple of years ago. Their actual optician also seems to have missed out on the "being charming to customers" course. I'll stick to the major high street outlets in future.

    Both myself and my husband have been with them for a few years of any more. I have had 2 pairs of sunglasses break both in the same place and both times u have been told it's basically deliberate damage when it isn't. When there is a fault with a product why should I have to keep paying for a replacement. Disgusting service would not recommended them to anyone now.
