How are the reenactments historically accurate?

We work closely with historians and experts to ensure that our reenactments are as historically accurate as possible. We research every detail, from the clothing and weapons to the language and customs, to create an authentic experience for participants and spectators alike.

What kind of costumes and props do you provide for participants?

We provide a wide variety of costumes and props for participants, including period-appropriate clothing, weapons, and accessories. Our goal is to immerse participants in the historical setting and make them feel like they have stepped back in time.

Yes, participants are welcome to bring their own costumes and props as long as they are historically accurate and appropriate for the time period and event. We encourage participants to do their own research and ensure that their costumes and props are in line with our guidelines.

1st time to this park and it is brilliant, car park fee £1 donation, clean and tidy, the cafe is brilliant good for and the decaf coffee was very good, the sandwiches were made freash to order so a little wait was worth it, and the ice cream was very nice and at a reasonable price. The park as some nice trails and the earth works are brilliant for the kids to run about, we will be going back well done Newark, 👍
