Hello to every one, I was butchered in this hospital! I was refered to tgis hospital by a local urgent care for cat bite. I was operated by student doctors mainly from Greece and they opened my finger up so much that when in operating theater the other doctors told them it is not necessary clean and close it up. The student doctors seems to enjoy poking in the wound and chatting with other doctor about holiday. Long story short after operation i was sebt to a bed and after vwey shorr period my finger started bleeding,i asked the nurse and she dressed the finger with extra gause and bandages, and she told me if it still bleed let me know. The finger started bleeding out of all the dressing and the pain was unbearable. Called the nurse and she talked to the doctor and the decision was i have to wait till morninng. My finger was bleeding till the next day. A nurse came at 8 to wash my wound and left it open so the dr have a loik. Dr didnt show up till 10 and the finger was bleedung ,i had to ask the nurse to give me a gause so i can put pressure to stop bleeing. I was ready to leave the hospital at that stage. Bunch of doctors came around 10.00 and i am explaining about bleeding and one of them keep saying it was fine and his opinion is of professional bla bla. There was a doctor with north american accent who saw and tild them that the patient is right and vaeins has been cut in the operation,so the booked the operation theater and i qas operated on again. Afew vauns werw cut off in the fist operation. They fixed the vains with heat tools and put the finger together. Now i can not feel the finger,it is numb after over a month. I went to my gp and i was sent for scan,it seems that nerve is cut off,i am refered to physio and plastic surgion in different hospital...

They have been so helpful over the years .I would go there (even with the long waits) than go to the doctor's where you can't get seen for weeks

Saw a consultant the beginning of October 2022, a plan of surgery was written up. At the end of March 2023 - some 24 weeks later, my surgery was cancelled !! Citing funding reasons despite the new financial year a week away in April 2023. I am absolutely devastated and continuously suicidal. i am pretty sure they would not want to be treated the same way. Particularly as they bodged the same operation some 10 years ago, i was hoping they would put it right. The one star is for the kind consultant who desperately wanted to do the surgery under a local anaesthetic.
