Area of new and upcoming development and improvements.A work in progress.A nice place to live but some flats had to have work done on them because the original builders did not complete or finish works correctly.Problems did include faulty windows and drainage problems,(the drainage faults affected residents on the ground floors mainly.). Most problems have been put right by L and Q.To their credit they are installing extra fireproofing to all door frames in the properties as well as making sure communal areas are fireproofed properly,ie passage ways and utility areas. The one negative is the soundproofing between floors is not good, you can hear neighbours walking around in the hard floor areas e.g the kitchens and bathrooms especially and if kids are running around that can be heard from properties on the same floor and above. This is just bad design and not something that can be fixed unless all residents are asked to wear slippers at all times!!The soundproofing between walls is very good though.
