Edit: thanks for your reply after having my review deleted despite every word being true. I've reposted and will continue to do so to protect future tenants. I'm 'surprised' that you're surprised about h's rude and condescending behaviur seeing as it has been mentioned in several of these reviews. If only there was a 0 star option. Avoid Quay Property at all costs. They demonstrate a complete lack of professionalism, disregard for legal obligations, and an overall failure to meet basic standards of customer service. TL/DR - They don't care about tenants, will attempt to deduct your deposit for invalid reasons and purposely misrepresent what the landlord says. Firstly, Quay Property violated the legally required 24 hours' notice period to view the property DESPITE REQUESTING EXTRA NOTICE DUE TO DISABILITY. 'H' turned up completely unannounced and proceeded to manipulate his way into the property. When I expressed my anger at this he condescendingly said 'yeah but it's only happened once'. This not only infringed upon my rights as a tenant but also completely disregarded my disability and disrupted my privacy and peace of mind. Additionally, Quay Property have done everything within their power to prolong the deposit return process, refusing or purposely taking weeks to provide: The check out report Proposed deductions Quotes for proposed deductions Breakdown of proposed deductions Evidence of a professional clean performed prior to moving in Any correspondence or communication of attempt to resolve any of the above. After 40 days we still had not had any response to our objections to ridiculous proposed deductions or the return of the non-dispute amount of deposit. This deliberate refusal to provide the necessary information raises serious concerns about this agency's integrity and compliance with legal requirements. My attempts to discuss and resolve the aforementioned issues were met with silence, as the agency failed to respond to any of my emails. This lack of communication is unprofessional and displays a disregard for basic customer care. At the 40 day mark they decided to come up with a new outrageous attempt to steal our money - claiming that we broke the bed which was clearly already broken in the check in report. We sent images demonstrating this. Furthermore they claimed this had come from the landlord, which I highly doubt as these seemed like decent people who would not attempt to charge tenants for something that was already damaged when they arrived. This was the final straw and our patience had ran out. We replied yet again with our evidence and requested a dispute be initiated immediately. They released our full deposit within 30 minutes of that email, proving that they knew they had absolutely no right to any of our deposit. Most letting agents are poor, these are diabolical. I'll look forward to their reply to this review, somehow finding a way to blame us like they have in every other negative review. Your agency is taking advantage of tenants, take some accountability.

This team is absolute trash, good luck trying to view a rental. The hours of viewing are always bad, they never answer the phone, the don’t turn up to viewings, the email response time is 24 hours, the office doesn’t exist. You know that estate agents are horrid in this country yet you always seem to give them a chance and then are upset when they never deliver. How they have achieved a 4 star rating is beyond me.

Awful management. They are Ignored everything about the problem we have. I feel sorry for the property owner who pay them to manage their property, it mean paying this company to destroy your property.

H and the team did a fantastic job selling my property in Salford quays. H did a fantastic job of marketing the property which resulted in many offers over the asking price. The team have great communication and I felt they were really fighting my corner when dealing with slow solicitor firms with buyers.

Was interested in one of their properties to let. The automated system when you call their number is absolute rubbish and tells you to fill out a form instead of connecting you to the right people. When I did eventually get a call from an agent, she was rude and demeaning. Edit: It seems apparent that whoever is responding to the bad reviews likes to make excuses for their behaviour. Any problem with my application does not warrant terrible customer service to anyone. There are better agencies than this company. Save yourself from the pain from dealing with these people

I understand we were late by 10 minutes but Mr. H was extremely rude and condescending. He also taught me how to read my mails. I’m okay with that as I was late by 10 minutes but I won’t tolerate disrespect and rudeness. We were in and out of the house in 3 minutes. How would you decide in 3 minutes? Who makes back to back appointments in realtor business? As a customer I want to see and feel if I could live in the house but Mr.H made it easy. No more quay properties for me. If possible ask him to read how to treat a customer properly. If I can I would give zero stars.

I recently sold a property I'd had as an investment in the Quay's, I'm remote in California, but the team @ Quay Properties we're easily able to work around that, did a great job finding buyers and took care of the entire process with myself being remote. Well recommended team, detail focused and offered a great service.
