Quay Players are amazing. It's incredible that anyone, regardless of their skills and experience, can join the society and perform in a full-on musical in a theatre. It's an amateur society but it has a lot of a professional feel to it: everything is properly rehearsed, choreographed, lit and set in the theatre. It's a great place to develop your singing, acting and dancing skills and there's a lot more to get involved in - backstage work and social media publicity.
