I went to Pacha House against today. It used to be the caretakers house for friend's institute. We now use it for the community. Pay as you feel, shared meals, arts and crafts, music, we all contribute our skills. There is an event every Saturday. In the friends institute building there are various groups / origination including Birmingham Centre for Arts Therapies for which I was a Director. SCAWDi, a women's group was based there. The Cafe has had various o owners over the years. At present it's used by a community trust. An over 59s mental health survivors group did some art courses there. There is a massive hall. Birmingham city council are custodians if the building.

Another beautiful building that needs money to restore it to its former self. A group of people meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the Friends Institute Cafe to natter, share lunch of soup and baked potato, and bring their skills. This is open to the local community from 11am to 5pm.
