Excellent food, and wine. I can heartily recommend this Purslane. The service, and the ambience were also top-notch. I can't really fault anything. Food was seasonal, local, and fresh. Wine was carefully chosen, possibly one of the finest bottles of Sangiovese I have enjoyed. Vegetarian options: A well balanced, and varied menu offered food for everyone. With good seafood too.

Wow! The perfect dining experience. We had the 7 course tasting menu at lunchtime and every single course was sublime. An intimate venue but one in which we never felt crowded or rushed. The service was perfect - efficient, friendly and personal but never intrusive. It's clear that this is a team that love what they do and it shows in every mouthful. If I could rate this restaurant higher than 5 stars I would. Purslane shows that fine dining doesn't have to be pretentious and I can't wait to return.

We had an AMAZING meal at Purslane. We booked following a recommendation from a friend, so had high expectations, but it managed to exceed them. We had the 7course tasting menu with wine pairing, and also a cocktail before and after the meal. The service was excellent - friendly, informative, unobtrusive. The food was sublime. There were at least a couple of extra dishes. The atmosphere was also good. I've already been recommending Purslane to friends! Thank you 😊
