Harrogate PureGym is way too oversubscribed, the majority of the time it's just unbearably busy, they really need to expand and open a second gym in Harrogate to meet the demand. Weights are always left in the wrong places. There is a horrible smell about the place. Not a fan of some of the machines they have, grips on the cable row are falling apart, pullup/dip machine grips are too chunky and hard to properly grip. Overall not the best experience but if you want an affordable gym then it has everything you need.

Hoardes of high school spice boys improperly using the equipment making it difficult at best to train. Not enough benches in the free weights section during peak times. Dumbells and weight plates are not left tidy or in any sort of order.

Good equipment and always open, but the atmosphere is horrible. Staff are never around and I have had two different occasions where I have to report other members due to feeling unsafe. I decided to leave in the end as I didn’t feel enough was done to make me feel safe.

It's a gym, nothing fancy but there's all the machines and classes you could want. The classes are included but not always at the time you would like.
