Installed seamlessly mid February. Very neat and tidy. Had a few minor issues which were sorted after a few phone calls. I suspect that because the product is very good, the company is very busy. Very happy so far. The engineers who called to update the software were very friendly and efficient.

Aftersales is atrocious and non-existent!! We had our batteries commissioned in Septemver 2022 and have been having alarm notifications for them at least once a day since then resulting in us having to reset them each time. Our supplier has tried to contact them to see what the problem is but we have had no communication from them at all despite being told twice in the last 3 weeks that they were sending engineers up to scotland to see us. This all means that we are losing money on these as any energy we could be storing at the moment is being sent back to the grid to be sold back to us at 4x the price we received for it!! If this was the summer we would be spitting feathers about all this. To say we are upset and annoyed about all the hassle is an understatement

I had never heard of them until I bought solar panels and a battery. The battery casing is lovely, sleek and will made. The internals are clever, pricing is great. But afterwards, I had issues due to the electrician...I contacted pure drive directly, they came to my house, fixed everything quickly, provided after sales support on queries that I made. A British product from a British company with works class after sales service. Well done, especially to Ollie who provided most of my liaison. Definitely would recommend the product and the company. Now if I can just afford an electric car to add to the system....

So far I have received excellent advice about the best design and who to use for installation. As the system I am putting in uses the batteries to store solar and off peak grid electricity there is a lot to learn and their help has been invaluable. More later when my system is up and running.

We ordered and have fitted 5 x 5KW Puredrive batteries and I have to say they are absolutely awesome. Small Sleek design, very easy connection system between batteries. All fitted in the under-stair cupboard floor standing with a wall bracket for support. The mix of Hybrid Inverter and Battery will allow for up to 22 amps of electricity availability from the batteries in the event of a total outage which is enough for Lights, Television Sockets and Wi-Fi. We charge the Puredrive batteries on our low energy tariff from Scottish Power @ £0.18p per KWh from 11pm until 07.30am each morning they show full. Our daytime rate is £0.56, we use 10,000 KWh annually on the daytime rate, these 5 batteries almost give us almost 10.000KWh give or take a few hundred KWh. We have been up and running for one week now and the batteries are more than covering our daytime use, we went for a 5Kw out Hybrid invertor from Solis so that covers us even when cooking. With the saving we are making payback on the batteries will be around three to three and a half years. With the energy cost being how they are this is a great product to help all of us. Although the savings we will see more than pay for the system we decided to add an 8KWh solar system which has just been commissioned so that will also help to keep the batteries topped up during the day impacting on less cost to charge in the evening. Great Product, Great Support Given Pre and Post Sales. Happy to recommend.
