    Don't even try! We have paid a GBP 8.000 deposit more than a year ago, and still we have received absolutely nothing but hot air and excuses. Now Joe Ellis, the MD, no longer responds to emails, calls etc. It has FRAUD written all over it.

    By far the worse company I’ve ever experienced. So many red flags, no show room, comments on social media’s turned off, bank transfer ONLY (who doesn’t take credit or debit card in 2023, especially for such high amounts?!?!) the owner, Joe, turned super rude & aggressive when I refused to bank transfer £3750. So glad I listened to my gut & didn’t go ahead. So sorry for the other reviewers who have lost out on thousands! Definitely DO NOT recommend!!

    Joe Ellis of Pure Greenhouses Ltd, is a liar and a cheat. He still owes me my deposit of £000's after a year of failings, missed appointments, poor excuses and lies. I suspect that any review above 1 star is a fabrication in-keeping with the way the business is conducted.

    PURE Greenhouses The frameless greenhouse PURE greenhouses are the worst company we have ever dealt with. They had a fairly ok website (its changed again since our experience) There is no showroom and we should have been suspicious at that point. The 2nd 'red flag' was we had to pay the whole amount up front. The whole experience was terrible. Once we had paid the money (£4.5k), we heard nothing for months, after leaving numerous messages (they have no office) we started to think we had been scammed, eventually we got a response, but that was the start of months of false promises about an install date, whereby the excuses just kept coming, the excuses where embarrassing and frankly insulting, ranging from broken down vehicles on their way, no shows, sickness, no fuel available etc etc, again, over a long and very frustrating period of 10 months. When we did actually get someone, their install standards where awful, the auto opener didn't work when installed and the opening roof panel has never fitted correctly and is about to fall out. We asked for a coating to the glass and they never confirmed anything to show it had been done. I can only suggest that anyone considering using this company seriously look for an alternative because I can guarantee you that our experience has been the worst we have ever known. Please be warned. Date of experience: 09 June 2022

    I too bought my greenhouse on a whim at Chelsea 4 years ago. It had many admirers in my city centre walled garden. I have recently moved house, so I arranged with Joe and his team to have my greenhouse relocated to my new garden. They arrived on the arranged day, dismantled it and the base and re erected it at the new address on one of the coldest days of the year. I am very pleased to have it with me still. It looks so elegant in my young garden and is protecting my pots until the Spring. Great service - many thanks.

    I have had my Pure greenhouse for 4 years . I bought it on a whim at the Chelsea Flower Show stand. It’s fabulous. Eye wateringly beautiful and a great asset to my veg growing. I also over winter my citrus , olive and loads of other tender pots. The only advice I’d give anyone thinking of buying one is to get a bigger size than you think. I love mine.

    Do not do business with Pure Greenhouse LTD. 'Notice Before Legal Action' has been served today. On 4th December 2021 I placed an order with Mr Joe Ellis, Company Director, and sole operator of Pure Greenhouse LTD. I paid a fifty percent deposit, £2250. The Greenhouse would be ready for instillation early February. Within weeks things started to go wrong, no receipt was issued for my deposit, telephone calls were not answered and emails not responded to. I have had to pursue Mr Ellis for a period of six months. Mr Ellis has provided excuse after excuse for the delays. His designer had a breakdown and left the company, Then Mr Ellis got Covid, followed by all his colleagues getting covid. This was followed by a family bereavement swiftly followed by a factory supplier issue and the need to find an alternative supplier. Mr Ellis was allegedly one hour away from my address when his van broke down and he was unable to continue. Next there was a fractured Orbital bone, followed by a piece of my greenhouse being broken whilst being loaded for delivery. Finally after six months and my taking four days off work to facilitate installation, Mr Ellis was to deliver and install my greenhouse but failed to turn up, declined my telephone calls and ignored emails. Mr Ellis has lied and cheated me for six months. I do not believe there was ever a greenhouse manufactured for me. Today I have served a 'Notice Before Legal Action' informing Mr Joe Ellis that I intend to commence legal proceedings against himself and Pure Greenhouse LTD. I will also be lodging a formal complaint against Pure Greenhouse LTD with Trading Standards. Do not consider doing business with this cowboy company. Mr Joe Ellis has stolen £2250 from me and I will pursue him through the County Courts.
