I have eaten at Punjab on three occasions. The first two visits were fine but I wasn’t so impressed this time. Service was good but my madras curry tasted undercooked. When it came to pay we split the bill (with a tip) and we all agreed, and asked, to pay £33 each. The member of staff charged us all £34. In the grand scheme of things this isn’t a big deal but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Will I return? I’m not so sure

The most standard of all Indian restaurants in London. Completely overrated. You will get a decent meal here but don’t expect much more. In terms of Indian food there isn’t much more in this area so choice is limited. Therefore it is hard to recommend.

(Translated by Google) A bit of a wait for a table but it's definitely worth it! Every dish was delicious! Go there with your eyes closed. (Original) Un peu d'attente pour avoir une table mais cela vaut vraiment le coup ! Chaque plat était délicieux ! Allez-y les yeux fermés.

Probably the most authentic Indian restaurant in London. Ordered the lamb biryani and the meat was so tender and portion was good. Butter chicken was on the bone and was succulent.

We were pleasantly surprised by Punjab! We had actually reserved a different Indian restaurant nearby which was empty when we got there. So we strolled around hunting for an alternative that had a bit more of a vibe. We stumbled across this place and it was super packed for a Monday night. The service was fantastic. No complaints. Had to wait a bit to be seated (our own fault lacking a reservation) but once seated there were no complaints. Food was amazing. Lots of standard Indian dishes but also some really unique ones that we’d never seen on any other menu. Would recommend the pani with curried pumpkin on top - divine! The lamb curry we got had some lamb cubes that were a tad overcooked, but otherwise everything was fantastic. Definitely reserve in advance. Great spot for an indian
