I really wanted to love this branch, but a few things were significantly off. Writing this in hopes it gives some ideas for management as I believe this place is overlooked. 1 - changing room was unaccommodating, lacking benches as for the number of lockers and visitors. It felt crowded (had to change while standing) and messy (hair and water on the floor), although it was just the middle of the weekday. 2 - the Reformer class experience was underwhelming. Although the instructor was absolutely lovely, the biggest disappointing moment was when I realized this is a kind of studio where they turn on the music too loud and then use the mic to communicate through the class. So instead of working on my core I had to put extra efforts straining to hear. Comparing to other Reformer studios, the class could have been also balanced better. It’s hard to say whether it’s beginner or intermediate, as some exercises were basic and some were advanced. I probably won’t recommend for beginners, as you don’t get any attention / guidance from the instructor (unless you are regular and they know you). 3 - overall not exactly a friendly experience at this location :(

The customer service and the management is appalling and disrespectful, a massive contrast to some of my usual instructors who are extraordinarily kind and attentive. I walked out today and cancelled my membership immediately because it has happened one too many times. I came quite early, about half an hour before my class to check in, and I just had to use the loo quickly before my spin class because I get sick if I don’t. I was just one min late and I was turned away. Not the first time I’ve been treated harshly. The last time I had to reschedule a class because of the tube strikes, which I did as soon as I heard the news, they refused to recredit me because it was 10 hours before class and not 12 hours. They insisted that the strike news have been out since over a week ago and I had to complain that it wasn’t the case for the TFL tube services. They only reluctantly recredited me 5 days later (only for a class in the next 24 hrs) after I complained. For the amount I pay each month, I would expect the customer service to be much better. It’s also quite ironic as their brand philosophy says this on their website: “Every day we spread more kindness by going above and beyond what others expect of us.” In reality it was beneath and below what I expected of them. It’s discriminating and not inclusive of people with health conditions. Not to mention my humiliating experience of having to explain my toilet habits to the reception whilst a bunch of staff stared at me. This should be a place where people come to de-stress. People shouldn’t be feeling stressed to come here and shouldn’t be at the mercy of the management staff - they’re fee-paying customers. The management and customer service staff should practice what they preach and learn some kindness and respect that some of their instructors embody. It’s really unfortunate because I’ve been a regular for 8 months, and was even thinking of getting more classes down the line and upping my subscription. But rude, disrespectful management has made me walk out as it just became one too many times.

Alice, Keris and Jo’s spin classes are amazing! The time goes so quickly, music is great, they use the weights for a good amount of time and it’s not just “ride ride ride by yourself “ till it’s boring. They have choreography that’s easy to follow and it’s super fun! 10000% recommend their ride 45 classes (never did 60mins so can’t comment)!
