Very quaint old farm house,,lovely hospitality, very clean and tidy. Step out front door amazing views, and only a mile and a half from ravenseat farm. Easy and harder walks were everywhere around area. Not too far from the highest pub in Britain, and if eating out two places well worth a visit Black Bull in Nateby and Keld Lodge(Keld) but it might be advisable to book them first.

One of the best vacations I have had. I stayed in the Shepherd's Hut and it was amazing. The views had to be seen to be believed, with the hut being situated at the top of a buttercup, clover and daisy meadow. Glenda could not have been more helpful. She had thought of everything to make the stay perfect. Sitting on a morning outside the Shepherd's Hut eating breakfast overlooking the meadow and river below was incredible. So many walks and no Internet or phone signal which made it a real escape. Bliss! :)
