I've been taking my 12 year daughter to the boxing barn for a while with the intention of trying to build her confidence as she suffers from anxiety quite bad so I was a tad concerned how it would work out for her but the trainers in the gym are brilliant and are super friendly with a special mention for Nathan who has worked wonders with my daughter 1 on 1 and she's now excited when it's training time and can't wait to go back.would definitely recommend to anyone either to get fit or just for your mental health.

Just had my very first boxing session at Boxing Barn with Mark - what can I say? Walking into a boxing gym brand new with little experience as a mildly out of shape 34 year old can be a bit intimidating, but I walked in tonight and felt welcome straight away. You really can’t go wrong with this place, regardless of what level you’re at. Mark took his time to explain everything I needed to do to work on my technique and get the most from the sessions. Currently doing a half hour session one night a week but looking to up that to two one hour sessions two nights a week in the new year (once my fitness improves a bit!) Nice one Mark - see ya next week 👍

Went today for the 1st lesson to see what is like been 20 years since I last put on glove.ans was I surprised at what a grate bunch of blocks that are there the trainers are warm and welcoming the guys that train there friendly and kno there stuff .it has the feel of a good old time gym will be coming back thank you guys

On the 5th of may I walked in to this gym. I was overweight I lacked self confidence. I struggled badly with depression and mental health. I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and looked to train boxing. I’ve always been an admirer of the sport but my issues in my life held me back. In 3 months the training and the guidance from Reece and Nath and all the other fighters in that gym turned my life around. My mental health issues are a thing of the past I am fitter and healthier and it’s not only what you learn in the gym it’s the discipline and respect you get from the classes to take outside the gym…. They say boxing has the power to change life’s. Boxing barn changed mine

Well, it's fair to say that under current Lockdown measures I am very much missing my weekly exercise sessions at The Boxing Barn. Joe Wicks has nothing on Nathan Owens! I do weekly sessions in the 915 personal training groups sessions and it is by far the best exercise that I have done (and managed to maintain). The service Nathan provides is courteous, catered and has obvious instant results... Courteous- in that before I started my first every sessions (which was just me on my own PT sessions) I filled out a form based on my health & fitness. After this Nathan paid particular detail to a previous operation. Therefore putting my health as high priority. Catering- I have never been pushed as hard in my life. Yet, the exercise class is so enjoyable and all-in -all a good break from mum life. The exercise class is catered to everyone's needs and ailments -if any and I leave the class feeling ready for the day. Each session is completely different and there are always new challenges, wgich is brilliant. I definitely see instant benefits fitness-wise, physically and mentally motivated. Really looking forward to getting back/wobbling back!

My grandson goes to Naths Boxing Barn juniors he absolutely loves it. First week he just watched now three weeks on cannot wait to go and loves his weekly session with Nathan. The classes are small and very friendly, and professionally run. Great safe place for children to train and get fit.
