While we were initially impressed with the process of signing up through property genius, having now been a tenant of one of their landlords for several months we are more aware of the quality of service Property Genius provide. It took a month to fix a problem with our heating (in February!), they've also been actively avoiding dealing with ventilation problems at the property, so much so we had to get the council involved. When it comes to dealing with the landlord they enable illegal behaviour (not providing enough heating in occupied rooms). I appreciate our landlord is not brilliant but as an intermediary it's their job to at least ensure minimum legal standards are met, we have children at the property but still they're not interested in tackling problems. <edit> I have gone through Property Genius's complaints process, with no success. Our living room heater is still unable to heat the property when it's cold, this is illegal but PG have closed our repair request and are refusing to act further on it. Our shower is acting up, the shower is not suitable for the water pressure at the flat, it's been a month of on-and-off cold showers and no sign of a fix yet, and no communication at all from PG for two weeks. Fortunately I can recommend Trafford Council Environmental Health team who have been supportive in helping get items fixed. It's also worth noting that our landlord is listed below having left a five star review.. to be clear, we have not been comfortable, our needs have not been addressed and we have not had a good experience letting the property.

Ella was the nicest estate agent we met as she didn't put pressure on us and was very friendly and professional. Graeme support us to sort out all our paperwork which was a bit intensive with all the checks but he helped to make the process as easy as possible. We also got a lovely welcome box when we moved in. For over 12 years Property Genius has Let and Managed 2 of my properties. As a Landlord they have taken the 'load of my shoulder' and provided a full management service to date. Their service has been exceptional in looking after my investments and taking care of the tenants - ensuring that they are comfortable, their needs are addressed promptly and that they have a good experience whilst renting the properties. Property Genius has performed above the call of duty - when there was an issue with one of my properties, during a void period without a tenant, the Owner, of Property Genius, drove a fare distance from where he resides, late into the evening, to address the issue at the property. I would highly recommend to Landlords to use the services of Property Genius and for Tenants you are in safe hands when your rental is being managed by Property Genius !

I felt that my query was pushed to one side, and they did their best to get me off of the phone. They wasn't considerate for what I had to say, I was speaking to someone called Vicky from the Lettings team. I felt it was quite ignorant and just wanted to make that clear for anyone else that may have a slightly more unique query. Sorry to have to leave this review but I was wanting an email for a higher up representative and she refused to provide this to me.
