    *A Letter of Commendation: Simon Colburn * 29th June 2020 was a black Monday for the Osondu's family living at 136 Broomhill Road, Strood Rochester, Kent UK. It was a day mysterious fire gutted our house - a fire that more than five(5) Fire Engines failed to put out, and we were made homeless in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. All hope was lost in the dark cloud until a man called Simon Colburn turned up. He introduced himself as our Insurance Negotiator, and moved quickly to instil hope, and reassure us that there will be light at the end of the tunnel. He worked relentlessly to ensure that our Insurer took over the payment of our hotel bills until a temporary accommodation was found. Throughout his dealings with us, he showed a high degree of competency, reliability and honesty. Simon, to our family, became the voice of the powerless. We have found him to be a man whose integrity cannot be reproached. We strongly recommend his services to anyone wishing to engage him.     For a major loss you need someone on your side, and Property Claims Assist are excellent at what they do. We cannot recommend Simon Colburn and Property Claims Assist highly enough. From the moment we brought him onboard to help us with our major loss after a fire to the end of our claim, he has been helpful every step of the way. Hopefully a major loss will only happen to you at most once in your life (it was certainly our first time) so you will not know the process or what to do. Simon has dealt with hundreds of loss events and so knows the process inside and out. He was always on the end of the phone to speak to and ask all our endless questions. In the first few weeks he gave us really solid advice and having someone to speak to who knew what they were doing really helped with anxiety levels. Our insurance company have been very difficult to deal with and so having Simon to speak to them on our behalf has helped the process no end. He has resolved so many issues with the insurance company and argued with them on our behalf. You really do need someone in your corner to ensure you get the best possible settlement from the insurance you have in place. Thanks to Simon for all your hard work, we very much appreciate it.

    A true hero Simon. My top floor flat burnt out and the whole flat was gutted I was absolutely devastated. I was Visited the next day by Simon who was great. He explained how the whole process worked and where I would have let the insurance company just tell me what I was allowed Simon informed me of everything I was covered for. He took care of absolutely everything and when ever I phoned him he was there for me. The insurance company ended up paying £118,000 and my flat was totally brand new. I would happily say that Simon is a true hero. Thank you again James.
