Had my solar panels fitted about three years. We will miss sold them when they told us we could grid trade and we can't and then we're told they've got a lifetime guarantee but you have to pay nearly £400 for an engineer to come and repair it if anything goes wrong. all in all my experience with them has been very poor

With the increase in electricity bills, and thinking of the future, I carried out a lot of research into solar panels and following a very informative meeting with the site surveyor we decided to go with Project Solar. We are so pleased we did - the customer service has been very good, and we were extremely impressed with the team who did the installation. They worked so hard, and were polite, leaving the property clean and tidy at the end. The app is brilliant and I am regularly checking the direction of the blue dots! The whole process from beginning to end was easy, informative, and most importantly, fast, from agreement to having them installed was less than a month. The scaffolding company was incredibly professional and very friendly. The installers were super friendly and a great laugh to have around but also very good at their jobs. We were up and running in 4 hours (we live in a bungalow), so it was an easy instalation. I couldn't be happier with project solar.

I was very impressed by all aspects of Project Solar. The salesman was clear and straightforward and took into account shade and the real cost of electricity while other quotes assumed no shade and a price way in excess of the current cap!. The scaffolders were efficient and the installers very professional, leaving everything clean and tidy. They explained the app to monitor generation and usage really well. The documentation and followed quickly after installation to enable me to sell excess electricity to the grid. All in all, a great experience! I would recommend Project Solar to anyone interested in installing solar panels.

The sales rep arrived this morning and at first seemed friendly. I explained that due to my husband's health issues he would have to wear a mask to come in the house. He advised me that he had not got one so I offered him one which was accepted. He said he would be around 15 minutes outside to take some photos and sightings and asked me for a utility bill. As we deal with an online supplier I said that I would go and print one off which did not take long and to my surprise when I came out of my study he was walking round my hall. I told him he should not have come through without my knowledge and he said he had a mask on and I said yes but neither my husband or I had as we thought he was still outside. With that he stormed back to the kitchen and said he was not going to continue with the appointment and packed up his things whilst making other derisory comments. I told him that there was no need to be rude and he said that I was being rude, which was ridiculous as I was only repeating what I had previously advised him outside. I must say that both my husband and I were taken aback by his attitude and cannot believe that someone who came to make a high end price sale to us would act in this manner.

System installed 4 years ago and now issues with brackets and installation method have been identified. Scaffold up for 4 weeks now, two inspections but no action. Slow to answer phone and numerous "I'll call you back" promises. Seem very reluctant to commit resources to sorting their problems.

The initial visit was by a well-informed, lovely guy who seemed genuinely keen to understand whether solar panels were going to be worthwhile for us. He knew exactly what he was talking about and didn't pressure us at all. Since signing up, Project Solar have been in regular contact to confirm the progress of the installation. It all went according to the timeline (which was pretty fast) and I've felt supported and like I was in safe hands from the word go. Really positive experience, and the fact that solar is going to be a great medium term investment for us is obviously wonderful news!
