On top of that, I'm so chuffed I have a magnificent piece of art on my leg! It's especially special since it is a tribute to 2 people who died. I visited Prohibition Ink last week to fix an old tattoo which hadn't aged well, and I came out completely in love with my tattoo again. JJ was brilliant throughout the whole session and made me feel total comfort and trust in what he was doing. The place is extremely clean and it was so refreshing to walk into a tattoo parlour so welcoming rather than intimidating like a lot of other places! Their impeccable service continues after you leave the studio, as JJ has been very responsive in answering my questions regarding aftercare (of which I am very grateful!).

I first encountered this place last Jan while visiting Brixton pop and browsed through their photos. Falling in love with the tattoo style, I planned to return after creating a design. I came back recently with my design and asked one of the artists if he could have a look and discuss with me. Very rudely, he gave me a once over, shoved a business card at my partner, and sent us packing. Bad attitude and judgemental behaviour is definitely not something I (or anyone) want in a tattoo artist so cheers prohibition, you just lost a potentially long term customer. ✌🏼
