We are a charity who ordered oil in April. After months of being fobbed off - as at January 2021, no oil, no refund. Obviously closed - but sadly not formally, so people can get some of their money back. We have given 1 star - because you can't post with none - ridiculously.

Progress Fuels failed to deliver to me 3 times in March & failed to contact me to tell me so. Eventually I cancelled the order. They said they would pay me back the £340 they owed me but have not done so. I kept phoning them and they even phoned me to say that they would pay me "in the next couple of weeks" but I have never received anything from them. I have written to them & filed a claim against them in the small claims court but every communication has been returned unopened. I am a retired woman in my 70s and can ill afford to give them this money. I'm not the only one that has had this terrible service from them. Another person in my village had the same thing but was able to claim the money back through his bank. I would warn against having anything to do with them in case you end up out of pocket and out of fuel like me.

Ordered fuel via an oil club. Payment taken 24th Feb 2020. Let down on delivery date. Oil Club contacted members advising to cancel order. Contacted Progress Fuels to cancel order, which they were willing to do and confirmed they would give a full refund. It is now May 8th. I am still waiting for a refund. Emails are rarely answered, as are phone calls. Now taking legal action to recover my money. Money was taken pre-lockdown.
