He was able to successfully perform a complicated procedure to replace my aortic root while sparing my native valve. Professor Wendler gave me great confidence going into the surgery and has been extremely encouraging in the aftermath, too. Furthermore he is extremely approachable and accessible to his patients and showed great duty of care on my day of surgery by keeping my relatives informed of progress.
