Uttery unsympathetic people. I tried to book an appointment with them and they send me a confusing letter. On asking for more detail his secretary Daiva send me the same letter again. If they have no interest in giving me time to understand my problem, i don't expect them to cure my problem. I'd advise to try elsewhere.

We had an appointment at 2:50pm. Instead of calling us to appointment he has called two other patients before us. It was extremely unporofessional. We just had to come back home without seeing him. My child was extremely confused. She has asked me why the doctor didn't want to see us. I am so sorry that NHS has such an arrogant doctor who doesn't treat equal patients equally.

I came to see to Prof Ranganathan after having sought opinions from several surgeons who felt that I required major surgery on my spine at multiple levels and the results were not predictable. I lost hope and came to see Prof Ranganathan with very little hope. He performed diagnostic injections and then a key hole procedure to free up the nerves and a fusion using a new technique. I have had two spinal operations prior to this at the same level and hence I understood the need for prolonged rehabilitation . Surprisingly, I woke up with no pain at all. I was walking the same evening and went home the next day. I was very emotional to be totally pain free after so many years. I went back to full time employment within 4 weeks after being part time for several years. I am now 6 months post surgery and back to enjoying my life to the fullest with my young family and have experienced no pain since the day of my operation. Don’t be fooled by his humble, simple looks, calm voice and demeanour - he truly has a gift of god and one of the best out there. My family and I owe our life to him. I have seen so many spinal surgeons and testify that he truly is UK’s leading spinal surgeon embracing modern technology.
