I signed on to a ropework and scrambling skills course with Pro Venture as I am keen to do more scrambling and climbing. I had a great, fun day of scrambling in the Peaks. I learned a lot more than I expected in one day including ropework techniques to protect myself and others when scrambling. Thanks to Darryl's expertise and experience, I feel safe and confident to use the skills I learned on some simple scrambles on my own. I'm looking forward to booking onto more courses with Pro Venture in the future!

We had a brilliant day caving in the Peak District with Daryl from ProVenture. He's very friendly and knowledgeable and fills you with the confidence needed to push yourself to your limit which is exactly what we needed. We wanted an authentic, full on experience and that is exactly what we got. He was very willing to share his knowledge, advice and wisdom. Thank you so much. Today I went climbing to Stanage Edge with James as my guide. It's been my first experience with climbing outdoor and I’ve loved it. I’m fairly new to climbing and have only used my local indoor wall up until now so I was a bit nervous to start off with but James was great, he explained everything really well and made sure I was comfortable with everything before starting. I felt like I was in great hands throughout and have very much enjoyed my introduction to trad climbing. I’ve had a fantastic day and would definitely repeat. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

We spent five days in northern Spain exploring various cave venues. The whole trip was organised by pro-ventures friendly fully qualified cave experts. We also had a home from home in a local bunkhouse as Darryl welcomed other like-minded activity enthusiasts onto the trip. It was a truly memorable experience that is still talked about today!
