Prison Island is so much fun. It's lots of rooms with timed tasks inside, a bit like the crystal maze. There were 2 adults and a 12 year old in our party and we booked for 90 minutes. This allowed us to do most of the rooms. Some rooms are quite challenging so you may end up doing them many times. There was a good mixture of physical and mental challenges. You get a fob that you carry around with you so you can enter the rooms that are free. There are screens to see how you are doing as a team too. Next to where you book in are lockers so you don't have to carry everything around with you. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. I'd definitely try this again.

I brought my two teens. One boy, one girl. For first 10 mins was a bit like a family domestic as they were straight in the rooms before I could digest what the challenge was, but we soon got our act together and worked as a team. Absolutely great fun and they have said they preferred it over theme park Alton Towers ! A little pricey for 1.5 hrs but something completely different. We also did the golf in the evening and it was fab. Would recommend and definitely revisit again.

Came for a friend's birthday, and just so happened to be the first escape room I have done. Definitely an unforgettable experience. Paid £35 for an hour and half session which seems like a long time but it goes by in a flash. With around 30 rooms to play (all small individual challenges) each with its own difficulties. It's great fun for groups especially if you have enough people for two teams to play off against each other. Some of the rooms are very physical which I really enjoyed, and others are more mentally challenging, which admittedly I was fairly bad at. Some of the physical rooms are particularly tricky, with some that feel nearly impossible so it's really a good challenge. If you get enough points you get rewards at the end. We managed to get enough to get a 20minute AR darts session which is another thing I recommend. Really great fun and has made me want to try other experiences.
