there is no way to pick up calls as they appear on no caller id meaning you miss the call and have to re book an appointment. Quiet inconvient as you then keep kissing appointments and rebooking. The help to fix this problem is not great either

Update: a recent appointment has been postponed to 25th Jan despite first contacting them on 9th December. There's also no way to contact the GP directly if you miss the GP call (which could be any time of the day; not like there's a hour slot we're informed about). My previous GP used to contact by SMS or email to which you could respond, but not this GP. I totally get that the NHS is under strain, but compared to GPs we've had in the past this practice seems to have a significantly inferior mechanism/process for managing patient appointments. Waiting times on 3-4 GP appointments so far had taken 2-3 weeks each time, which is far above the average, both nationally and regionally. On one occasion, the delay was even worse because they printed the wrong form for a blood test and didn't realise the error all throughout waiting period for the test and getting results, which translated to about 2 months for a diagnosis from start to finish (for something we managed to get done in a day in India, but that's a separate matter). It could be that we had a rare set of bad experiences.
