On the 18th of March my son was admitted to the Priory Hospital in Dorking. He was smartly dressed, as the St. Pancras Hospital (mental health department) doctor describes in his initial report. I visited him on the 20th March and brought him a number of books. On the positive aspect, he was treated well and I was allowed to visit him a number of times. On the negative aspect, when he was released to me, his expensive jacket and clothing, a pendant necklace bought in New York, his mobile phone, and all the books I brought him were missing. We called the Priory a number of times for the missing property, in vain. A suggestion for improvement: please, keep all property properly recorded and guarded and return it to the guardian, when the patient is released.

Very disappointing! My husband was assessed only on fourth day after the admission and discharged 2 days later, after a single consultation. No treatment was offered to him, just meds at night time. The follow up care we were promissed was not of the nature described to us at the Priory Hospital. Beyond my understanding how the rates for this place on CQC report are so high. My only advise is to AVOID!
