Had my Epson stylus Pro 9880 serviced as there was no ink coming out, even though I had it serviced last year and spent over £1000 on a new print head, the other company said there were other issues with the ink system. I had doubts on the other company due to the engineer knowledge and felt he didn’t know what he was doing, he kept watching videos and took a whole day to fit the new print head… I arranged for the engineer to come out and give me a quote on the fix, the chap was very knowledgeable and said he had years of experience with Epson printers. He said I needed a new capping station as he believes that was the issue. I explained that I had a new print head fitted last year because of this issue. He looked puzzled as he could see there was no ink coming out the waste pipe and said he is 100% certain it’s the service station and never was the print head, he looked at the old print head and said it looks good, he ordered the part and returned a few days later to fit. Within an hour I had a fully working printer. I spent so much money on a print head I didn’t need. Wish I’d searched google a little deeper to find such a company that has the knowledge. This was my last attempt before I seriously considered dumping it. I can not thank this company enough for all their work in fixing my printer. I strongly recommend them to everyone who has Epson printers.
