I came yesterday to A&E for pains across my chest and heart and although yes it took about 6 hours in total, the care and help I received was unmatched. Every member of staff here was so caring and took their time to compassionately make sure everything was okay and to thoroughly check me out. One lady in particular was on reception and I asked her how long it might be until we were ready and she was actually one of the most lovely humans I have ever come across! So yes it takes a long time but you should not leave less stars for this reason as not one member of staff in that place was less than 5 stars (I would give 6 if I could!)

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Something needs to change with this hospital urgently because the way they’re operating right now is utterly unacceptable and unsafe. There’s no priority system for pregnant women. The urgent treatment centre is overwhelmingly crowded. A&E staff are rude and deceptive. Simply heartbreaking.

I attended children A&E on Easter Friday with my 2 year after he hit his cheek on a bed side table. I was so impressed with how helpful and nice all of the staff were. I told them that my son was due to have open heart surgery in 2 weeks and was concerned about sitting in the waiting room, as he could pick something up. They immediately put us in a side room and treated his minor cut straight away. For which I was very thankful for. I know this is not always the case here and, unfortunately I have first hand experience of this as well. But credit where its due. So thank you to the staff who treated him.

Worst than London hospitals!! There is only one doctor on night shift and even that one unprofessional. Couldn't diagnose my baby. After waiting for more than 6 hours he treated us with arrogance and without more checks said everything is ok. You could be hald dead and they say everything is ok. The directive should take action because is not possible in 2023 in a country like UK we face such children emergency department! Moving to private for sure

Absolutely a joke!! After waiting from 1am to 7 am with my 8months old baby with fever 38.9 has been told that everything is alright. The doctor after he stayed mostly at the reception chatting with the receptionist, told me that it's a simple cold. Told him about the tonsils and only after he checked find out that has tonsils inflammation. Unprofessional staff and arrogance from the reception to the doctor

13th October 2022: My experience at this Hospital was beyond almost unbelievable. Firstly I was greeted by some great juniors nurses at a&e however due lack of Physician I was left utterly disappointed. I was not seen promptly the nurses were two busy trying to act like the queen. After 24 hours I was told that they would admit me to the ward. Which I was happy with . But still no sign of the doctor. It was the forth day and the doctor turn up at Harvey ward and says that I can be dismissed. To be Far if I could I could do a better job then him he was a junior doctor he didn’t even acknowledge that I had a stroke and how this was second one after 21 years and the fact I had also suffered three big seizure outside the hospital and in car on way there aswell and the fact my symptom were escalating he asked me to take paracetamol. But Paracetamol is not antibiotics its not going to kill the viral infection which is affecting other organs in my body. I was given antibiotics but no throughout in hospital but I was not prescribed. He didn’t asked whether I suffered from anything else service was not sufficient in my eyes more like a 1 star hospital should of gone private otherwise all good. MRI,CT Scans was not done even though a stroke starts from the brain. So they couldn’t establish the cause of infection.

1-year-old child, after waiting for 3-4 hours, a doctor consulted us, they didn't give the correct diagnosis, respectively the wrong treatment. no one even looked in the throat, ears or listened to the lungs or did a general blood or urine analysis. in my case it was a total failure, you had to look for private specialists.

Waited 5 hours. Didn't even get seen by a GP. Your time is worth more you might as well go private.
