I contacted Priest Building Design after finding their website and reading the reviews - nearly all favorable. Sam asked for a project brief and I supplied a full description. He suggested he come out to make a site visit. On the visit he seemed very engaged and on the ball, but the initial sketch he sent through a few days later didn't meet the brief at all. He then suggested that I contact an architect which is fine, but his £50 call-out fee doesn't sit well with this. My feeling is that he could have made that recommendation without visiting. Disappointing.

I wish i could write a glowing review of my experience with this company - sadly this is not the case. I used this company to apply for planning permission for decking several years ago and they were great. We decided to have a home extension and loft conversion and I came here to have plans completed - I waited and waited and there seemed to be some conflict within the business between the builder and the architect - I ended with no working plans and have had to have them all completed again at great expense - I did receive a refund but have been left with a bad experience over all the issues - hopefully they can get back to better communications

Sam came out really quickly to give us some advice and a quote for the work. Ours was a small bay window extension project which was relatively straightforward. Sam did the necessary drawings for us at a very reasonable fee and then submitted them to the planning portal for us too. We paid him direct and then he sorted everything else for us. It took away any hassle whatsoever. Planning consent was approved on schedule without issue. Would highly recommend and use again in the future. Thanks Sam.
