  I don't usually write reviews but i have to for this place. I booked a hair wash and cornrow. As one of the ladies continued to wash my hair, connie asked while their was another customer if my hair was dry. The lady answered no. Then once my hair was washed and conditioned she went on for a tangent for 10 minutes about how my hair is dry and even though she has "coarser" hair than mine, her hair is a lot better than mine. But the worse thing is when she went to comb my hair, like ANY person would do by starting at the ends.... she ragged at my hair with the comb from the root. I was in so much pain and dread the amount of breakage she probably caused to my hair... it almost felt like intentional So unprofessional and never will be attending again. Usually don't write bad reviews but i have to. Service: Braids

  I am thrilled with the experience I have had today . The salon is very multicultural, they care for any hair type and offer great advice on how to maintain your chosen style . Both staff that I encountered today were friendly. Not only was the staff attentive to my needs they offered a great service . I will definitely be returning .   HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON!!! Connie is the most lovely, energetic, kind hearted person. She makes me feel so at home whilst getting my hair done. AS WELL AS THIS, she is efficient when working. I’ve been coming to get braids done for over a year now, and come for colour, never once has she let me down. i have read some of the other reviews, as expected sometimes hairdressers run late! get over it!   I went here about 3 months ago. She was about 2 hours late because she had to step out to do something urgent but it wasn't a big deal because I didn't have anything else to do plus she apologised. Connie was very friendly and we had a very good conversation. She is also a very energetic person and I liked her vibe. Pricing wise, it was a lot over my budget and while I decided to give her a go based on the vibe I got from her over the phone, I will not be able to continue to go there when I factor in transport as well as the price. An overall good experience. Service: Dreadlocks

  Absolutely terrible. My girlfriend booked an appointment. By the time she got there the hairdresser was working on someone else, which is understandable, things can take longer. But at least call in advance to let people know that you'll be busy, what if she would've lived on the other side of the city very far away? On top of that she got told that she'll have someone else at 1:30 PM. So why would you book someone else right after (or during) another customer appointment. When my girlfriend came home she called in to see if they're still busy and what time she should come back for her appointment, she asked for a discount for delaying her appointment and saying its gonna be shorter now, I believe that's fair, all of a sudden hairdressers tone changed, saying that "I am sorry if you don't like my tone", even though my girlfriend didn't say anything about that, the issue was only about the delayed appointment, then suddenly she said to "find another salon". Why would a hairdresser speak like that to a existing customer, tell them to go somewhere else for no good reason and refuse to do their hair becasue of your mistake, and just becasue they politely complain or ask for a discount maybe for inconvenience. I am baffled and disappointed.

  I hate to write this review, but in all my years of getting my hair done at peoples house and at salons, I've never had such bad customer service. Sadly I cannot reccommend this place at all. I arrived for a silk press appointment at 1pm that I booked way in advance. When I got there, she was running late and still doing someone else's hair, which happens, no big deal. She told me to come back in an hour and a half and she would get my hair done quickly to fit around other clients (seems not enough time had been left for my appointment so I would have to be squeezed in). Bit incovenient as I don't live in the area and had spent money getting there. I went home. Before heading back out, I called to make sure that the new time was still ok so I didn't have another wasted journey - I am disabled, so it took a lot of energy to get there that day. I also said I had moved my day around so the appointment could take as long as needed. But then it all went wrong... I asked if I could have a discount for the inconvenience. I said I would have liked a phone call beforehand to let me know my appointment was running late so I could have arrived at the right time - the salon had my name and number. The hairdresser then very patronisingly asked me if I know how black salons work. Yes, I do. I know things run late, but letting people know takes one minute to do. She also said sorry I didn't like her tone, very passive aggressively, but I never mentioned her tone. I told her I had no problem with her manner, just the wasted journey. She said I should have said something at the time, but it shouldn't have mattered when I said something. She then told me to find somewhere else to get my hair done. I was very polite and stuck to the facts, but the hairdresser told me not to come in for my appointment, I couldn't believe it! I was excited to give this salon a chance but now they have lost a potential customer. Very annoyed that my silk press won't be done for when I need it. Shocking!! Service: Hair straightening

  From the beginning of my hair appointment was just luxurious! My hairdo was just so pretty , neat & simply laid! The hairstylists listened to every detail I wanted... The best in Leeds for sure! I also had my brows tinted & done & omg my eyebrows were just😍 Can’t wait for my next pamper day at Comforts!
