Came in today passing by York . My girlfriend and I was greeted and welcomed by the polite and kind manager Lilly-Beth. She asked about our day and sat us down at a lovely and clean table. Was able to see us for drinks promptly and our food arrived at a good pace and we were not rushed at all. The service was impeccable as was the food. My calzone was spot on! So was our ice creams. Wish this was local to us as we’d come alot more often! Thank you for looking after us. Thank you again Lilly -Beth for the fantastic hospitality and kindness. Frank

Prezzo at Vanguard Monks Cross, very noisy, very busy, don't accept cash, bit inconvenient when paying bill as there was a group of us, each couple had to work out who had what and pay on debit card, bit pricey, food good, staff very helpful and excellent service.
