Have been many times before and as always we weren't disappointed, my wife is fussy about her food but in all the times we have been she has never had a complaint, this is just one of the reasons we go back time and again. The service is first class the woman who served us last night was excellent, i do not give gratuities for any thing less than that, I give one every time i go,my wife had the lasagne and i had calzone both great,we both had a sweet another reasons i go for the tiramisu the portion is good and it tastes great. In conclusion we will without doubt be going again

Popped in for one day whilst visiting York as my friend has a Taste Card. The places was virtually empty apart from 2 other tables, but it was around 2pm. We ordered our starters and mains to come together, which they did. The garlic bread was lovely, but my carbonara had way too much bacon in it unfortunately. I ended up leaving some of my meal as it was just filled with bacon. Thankfully we didn't pay full price for both meals due to the Taste Card, otherwise I'd have been a bit more unhappy. Waiting staff were friendly :) Also the toilets are a right trek away down the stairs, can't be helped, but not great placement
