January 2023. PTS have just returned my watch - this time it was a simple check and regulation. Previously they have done full services on my vintage Rolex Datejust and my Zenith Elite. My watch had somehow got damaged and was making a very unhealthy knocking sound. I was also considering getting the watch serviced as it was approaching 5 years old and was out of warranty. Having previously waited weeks or months when sending watches back for repairs, I decided to take the watch into PTS in person. Luckily the repair was down to a simple broken part which had sheered. The part was promptly ordered and replaced and the watch was back with me within a couple of weeks. As I was also told it didn't need a service, the cost was also way lower than I had been anticipating. All in all, great service, far lower cost and much faster turnaround than if it had gone back to the manufacturer for the repair. What's not to like!
