Took my Olympic Torch to be engraved last week. I was.concerned as other engravers were unhappy to do it as the torch is plated. With only 4 letters remaining the plating cracked. I received a phone call to explain what had happened and called to see "the damage". Although it was not serious it spoil the overall effect and Premier Trophies were genuinely upset that this had happened. They had made a plate to cover the area affected and I was happy for this to be attached. Premier Trophies refused to accept any payment for their time and trouble. It was an unfortunate accident and I was happy with the way that Premier Trophies dealt with the situation and admire their honesty. I would use them again but I'm sure that they would think twice before attempting to engrave a second Olympic Torch!
