Terribly unprofessional. Was on the phone with the main contact for Duncan Smith student housing in Harborne (Birmingham) for weeks. I explained my situation and was assured that a flat could be secured. Firstly, the main contact was late for both viewings. We missed our first viewing because my accompanied family member would have been late for work if we waited any longer. In the end, no follow up, no updates, no courtesy call to say the flat isn't available. Emailed, but no response and had to keep chasing. Every time I managed to get through, there was an excuse. If I was told honestly and upfront, that a flat wasn't available then I would have moved on instead of wasting time. Just shockingly unprofessional.

A friendly, understanding and helpful private student accommodation. Rooms are lovely with plenty of desk space and with an amazing view overlooking bournbrook walkway. Everything was pristine and landlord always replied promptly. Location was brilliant given its only a 15 minute walk from the Uni of Birmingham and a retail park very close-by.

I asked to view this property and was told somebody would get back to me. Cut to 11pm the day before after re-contacting during the day, I was told nobody was available to show me the property and that was that. No offer to arrange an alternative date or even contact before me asking to let me know, it required me to contact them. I dread to think what this company would be as a landlord, if they can’t even arrange/ rearrange viewings. I would avoid.
