A nice hotel like all premier inns across the country only to be ruined by the guests living here . I was placed in a room on the second floor close to the lift , hours into my stay a guest next door to me started banging my walls even shaking the room I was in’s floor at one point . After a few hours of feeling uncomfortable , I headed down to reception and asked for a room change . Reception was friendly and understanding and instantly helped me find another room after I requested I wanted to move (due to the other guest’s banging) . The new room was much better except for one issue - every time the air conditioning was turned on it would be very noisy . Also I could hear the neighbour’s shower water when they were showering very clearly almost as if they were showering in front of me . I have been to many branches across the country , Manchester - Brighton etc and have never come across hearing a neighbour’s shower or a guest’s banging on the wall . Positives - nice cosy clean room with friendly and helpful staff and a good restraunt for lunch too in the nearby Potter’s Arms . Close to town with regular bus services going into the town . Negatives - Some Guests and Thin walls - Air con and shower noise.
