The room was clean and a good size. However, the bathroom in room 106 is very small The receptionist called Suky was brilliant, offering really good service The WiFi was terrible or non-existent. I spoke to five other people who had the same problem with WiFi. I also struggled for a good phone signal. So, on the whole, it's not a bad place at all

Very bad internet connectivity. Free WiFi was very slow so I upgraded to the "Ultimate" package for £5 per day. This package still only enabled 10Mbps connectivity but most of the time it was unable to stream even 480p content without very bad buffering. Worse still, the WiFi disconnected several times per hour and required loggin in again. Also the WiFi was simply unavailable for many hours throughout the day. When asked, the staff said I shouldn't have bothered with the premium package because all the internet connectivity was "rubbish". They said they had complained to the Premier Inn management on many occasions but nothing had been done to improve it. Making matters worse, there is almost non-existant cellular coverage from either O2 or Vodafone in this location, so the terrible WiFi connectivity was a big negative. Bottom line - if you need any reliable internet connectivity, do not book at this hotel.

Typical premier inn experience with the things you can always rely on - a decent bed, easy check in experience and an excellent breakfast the next day. They cook it to order at the adjacent buffet which is far better and we’re happy to accommodate preferences (e.g bacon well done, eggs poached). Best of all they were kind enough to keep hold of and post back to me a watch that I’d left. Very good service
