Spending a few days in Canterbury. The room was clean but there was an annoying flickering light in the bathroom. The windows are sealed shut and fresh air proved by air con. The air con worked well but was quite noisy in the night with bubbling and gurgling sounds. I had the meal deal on one occasion. The steak for my evening meal was so tough that I rejected it. There was no apology but a replacement meal was provided without question.. Breakfast was chaotic. Things had run out. I had to ask for brown bread, orange juice, a mug for coffee. The plates were cold and whilst waiting for eggs to appear..so was my breakfast. Disappointing.

We had a night stay at "Premier Inn" (Canterbury) to be faced with the usual checking in, we were given our room key card Along with the Room Number made our way to third floor guess what.. Key Card not operating any of the internal security doors! Or the room itself. Ok back down to reception we go with my young daughter very tired at this point to get given a replacement card: The room itself with a non opening window was very difficult to get a good nights sleep found it quite stifling, Didn’t really fancy listening to the cooling machine all night! Decided to opt for breakfast for around 10:00am given a table with no direction as to where the food/drinks were laid out, Not at any point of the booking process we were made aware that we would have to pay over £10 parking additionally. BE AWARE OF THIS ADDITIONAL COSTS Overall didn’t enjoy our Stay being completely Honest. ⭐️⭐️

Welcoming staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice expect the room didn’t have a shaving socket and the shower was out dated. The bathroom floor appeared clean but after a shower the white floor mate told a different story, became dirty. We had breakfast for both days and that was a shambles! Day one, got seated within 5mins but the food was not being kept up for demand. Kept having wait for food. Day two, had to wait 20+mins to be seated even though plenty of tables visible. They were slow to clean up after people left. Food was kept up with but I did have to wait a few times. The breakfast staff just seemed to not know what they were doing which made it worse. Overall it wasn’t a bad time. Slept well and the location was great in the city.
