We have just returned from a 2 night stay and can not fault the service, the cleanliness of the room or the location. We just wanted 2 nights away with our 10 year old daughter by the coast. To start with the booking system was simple and easy and I received a confirmation email almost straight away. We were greeted by a helpful and friendly member of staff who explained everything fully. We parked the car in their secure car park underneath and then headed to our room. We were greeted by a very clean and fully functional spacious family room for the 3 of us with. As it was quite late we headed down to their restaurant and throughly enjoyed our freshly cooked pizza's and burgers. Then headed back to the room for a comfy night's sleep. We awoke the next morning and experienced the most excellent extensive breakfast with everything you could want, which set us up perfectly for the day ahead. To check out we simply drop the keys in the box and headed home. The whole premises were clean and tidy and we will definitely be going back for our next weekend break at Bournemouth. I would like to pay particular thanks to the restaurant staff Alessia, Andrea and Alix who at times had to attend to the most rude and disrespect people, but remained very professional throughout. They were very friendly and interacted with my daughter making her feel very special for her first stay in a hotel.

We’ve stayed at this hotel repeatedly as our son is studying in Bournemouth. No issues until our last stay. Came to check in. Steve is not a happy man ! Walked to check in area and right past us. No friendliness. When he spoke to my husband his first words were ‘name’! Again no smiles, friendliness. We asked ( politely ) for a higher room and you’d have thought we’d asked him to run a marathon ! He immediately said ‘we’re fully booked’. At this we just asked him to nevertheless have a look for us. He begrudgingly found a room one floor up. Something we guessed ! In the end Steve was found out telling porkies as when we got to our room the bed was broken. The Manager on duty ( an extremely friendly and helpful person ) immediately transferred us to another room. 2 floors up ! 3 floors up from the first allocation. Maybe she just had super powers ?! The manager even saw us a little later and asked if we were happy and everything ok. Wonderful ! Whilst I understand everyone can have a bad day this attitude was appalling. So please Steve if customer service is not your thing do us all a favour and find another job.
