Premdor strikes again, very very very poor customer services over the phones but hey that’s how they have always been so why change, been waiting on a order for over 3 months, the lady on the phone was the usual Premdor helpful person “no can’t pass you through to production and no can’t help you” it’s shocking how this company is still trading, never push or sell their doors due to all the above and many many more issues, stick with Deanta doors better services and better prices, Premdor will never change.

Had a wooden Premdor fitted by a qualified carpenter just under 3 years ago. The door was painted with external door paint when installed and painted again a year ago. The door panels are now rotting through. Contacted Premdor via the supplier and have been told the door comes with a 2 year warranty and they say the door has not been properly maintained. The door is clearly not fit for purpose and one would expect an external wooden door to not rot in 3 years. I would definitely not buy one of their doors again and would recommend that they speak to customers directly rather than having to go to a supplier for information and a response. This door is not fit for purpose. The Sale of Goods Act 1979 requires goods to be as described , of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. See photos attached. External and internal. This door clearly is none of the above!

Have placed order for fire rated 4 panelled doors on 18th November and still waiting, just informed that delivery now expected w/c 22nd February. Have never been informed of extra delay only told when you phone up. Never used such a unreliable a company as Premdor. Unable to give less than one star.

An absolute nightmare. I ordered my door via Buildbase (Thompsons) in October 2019. 30 days is the delivery lead time, (working days), which would take it to just before Christmas. I have lost count the number of times I had to get Buildbase ot chase this up on my behalf, (note that Premdoor would not discuss anything with me regards to delivery etc). Anyhow, eventually the door arrived in.. May 2020! however it came with a huge chip on the edge of the panel, something that cannot be buffed out. So had this returned, for a replacement. Then the lockdown occurs, so had almost given up, potentially expecting a full refund based on my request for a cancellation of the order..... but lo and behold, the door suddenly turns up at the depot, in late June. Only took a few weeks to arrive, now in July 2020, not far from its anniversary on its initial order ( i could have ordered a custom Ferarri and would have been delivered by now!!) anyhow, I decided to video the opening of the door. Let me tell you that the door was fully cling film wrapped with only one side protected with very thin cardboard, whilst the otherside of the door was laid flat on rough sawn face of a pallet. Anyhow, decided to take this apart, and the cardboard side was fine, also the edges, however the side of the door that had no cardboard protection arrived with so many blemishes and chips on the black face of the door, i almost cried, on the fact it is such a great door but the poor care and attention makes all the work put into the quality workmanship and their effort into the door worthless. I mean as an example, you don't ship a glass jar with little or no protection... the least they could have done was protected the door with plenty of cardboard.
