Thankfully we're not directly a Precise customer per se, however the buyer of our house was. I can honestly say they put us through a really stressful time, they carried out their own valuation, structural survey and ultimately also wanted a drain survey because of a crack in the wall, even though we carried out our own home report valuation and structural inspection. I appreciate they've got their own procedures however Precise don't appreciate the delays and stress they cause their clients and sellers, breaking down the chain in the process with their unacceptable turnaround times, would never expedite anything! Ultimately because of their delays and last minute requests, the sale of our house fell through. I'd avoid Precise at all costs, they're a nightmare to deal with. How they get any mortgages over the line I do not know!

After using a number of mortgage companies over the years, i can honestly day I had a truly woeful and awful experience. They are very difficult to get in contact with. They don't listen to customer complaints and are totally inept at accepting even the smallest level of responsibility for their mistakes. They make it very difficult to leave them and take as long as possible to process anything to ensure you keep making very high interest payments to them. I wouldn't recommend Precise to anyone and I would be actively vocal to ensure I warn anyone who i heard was about to use them. Read all the other comments below this and I can assure you that all the negative press is justified.

Total joke. They don't have any staff to answer calls and no online self service. Waited 1H and gave up as there was no answer just to request broker authority. They don't even have a cue length or estimated time to answer feature, just waste your time.

Avoid at all costs, ripping off the customer with their super high rates. not helping or supporting their customers in any way! Customer service is the worst part, have been calling for two days and more than 2 HOURS of waiting time! when I mentioned that the waiting time is more than 90 minutes, the customer service replied we are aware of this!!!! you are aware of this and doing nothing!!!!

I've tried calling on 4 occasions now to change a DD. Simple task right?! Well, i've waited for over half an hour each time and not got through, i went on online chat and they can't do it but promised a call back next day but it wasn't forthcoming. I then call and press option 1 for a new mortgage and my call is answered in seconds!! but they can't even help, and just promised another call back from this so called 'service department' citing high call volumes as the reason - just be honest and say we have no staff!! Clearly Precise only care about bringing in new customers and have ZERO interest in helping existing customers. Ridiculously poor service!

I have only just started a mortgage with Precise this week , I have tried to call to change my direct debit , so this is very important , i AM FURIOUS , 3 wait times of over an hour and still cant get through to anyone ,,, really if this is the service I'm really worried
