I would have absolutely given a glowing review as the food was beautiful with great service - but unfortunately my partner got food poisoning from a bad oyster here. We since found out some friends had the same experience with oysters at Prawn on the Lawn, with half of their party getting sick. This was very unfortunate and ruined the last couple of days of our holiday in Cornwall.

FOOD POISONING 🤮 AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Never paid as much to sit in a marquee in a field. When you pay £5 for a bread basket I dont expect to be asked to keep our cutlery between courses. If you going to charge so much, the service should reflect that. Also 3 of the 6 of our party got food poisoning. I have also contacted food standards agency to explore further. Would not reccomend.

Gorgeous surroundings, wonderful food and excellent service! Prawn on the farm has a really great ambiance, warm and friendly staff and absolutely delicious food. Highlights for us were the mackerel, oysters, incredible fresh bread and delicious chocolate mousse for dessert. The perfect choice for a celebration meal or if you fancy a bit of a special treat!
