Waste of time - merely a stopping place for the nhs to tick a box, tell you it’ll be years before anything is done to get you the knee/hip that you desperately need. You’ll gain nothing except the rubber stamp which take so long you will have given up.

Not a very good service. Undertrained staff giving false information which was a start of a complaint which is currently being dodged/refused to be logged. Also had a call from them asking me to come in today. When informed I couldn’t mKe it I was told rudely if I don’t come in I will not be seen till the end of February. Found this conversation to be rude. You are not dealing with a sales product.

The level of services provided by the receptionist to the doctors was very professional and caring. I was referred by my GP for an Chest X Ray and my experience at the Practice Plus Group MSK Merlin Centre branch was memorable. All the staff I have come across had been very kind, caring and passionate at what they were doing. The inside of the premises was clean and tidy. Each of the appointment rooms were well equipped and the right machines. They have a large waiting area where social distance measures where put in place with hand sanitizers, face masks also provided. All the signage was clear and readable near the front entrance main waiting area. All staff was wearing PPE from face masks, to gloves and other accessories. They also have a temperature hand machine and several hand sanitizers stands at the front reception waiting area. They have 5 Disabled parking spaces right near the main entrance and they also had about 35 free car park spaces for all the patients who are attending for their appointments. I had no difficulties finding a parking space as normally its very difficult to find a parking space at hospitals, surgeries or health care centres. PPG had plenty of spaces. The receptionists are lovely, very friendly and welcoming when dealing with appointment enquiries. I have spoken to several of their receptionists and I could see how passionate they were in dealing with my appointment and the level of service I received was excellent. My appointment was made by Cressex Health Centre who is my local GP. They made the referral and the PPG had arranged appoint very quickly. I was very impressed with the level of care and support during my visit to the PPG. I highly recommend Practice Plus Group MSK to friends and family as they see NHS Patients and also Private Patients.

Bloody awful again at Chalfont St, Peter physio (practice plus group MSK Buckinghamshire. They send you a letter out with your appointment for a said time and if you're 10mins late you may not be seen. Letter also includes all instructions on back. I arrived 10mins early and sat in waiting room. Not a single person was having treatment and you could hear a pin drop it was that deadly silent in there. No acknowledgement from anybody in the practice what so ever. 10mins past my appointment time and a Polish lad calls my name out and i follow him 5yrds round the wall to be asked to sit down. I asked him why he wasn't punctual as there still wasn't a single patient to be seen, he gave me some excuse and with that i got up and said goodbye. It's the second time in say 10yrs i have visited this practice and exactly the same outcome. Terrible service. When you write people a letter stating if you're late you won't be seen. 2- it costs £111.06 for missed appointments. 3 - Car park is now monitored and you WILL be fined £60 for showing no ticket after the free first 1hr then you yourselves should be on time with your clients especially when it's first thing in the morning. Maybe teach your POLISH physio some BRITISH punctuality and etiquette.

I hope this is not a typical example of private enterprise in the NHS. The over-riding impression they give is that they are more concerned with the process than with actually doing the work and providing the care. Ridiculously dense and complicated admin processes, poor communication, and an operating policy whose sole function is to maximise their income rather than provide value for money. The clinical staff are good, which is not surprising as they are all probably NHS trained, but all in all a huge waste of money.
