Been my GP surgery since 2018 and it has only gone more and more downhill since. When I suffered an endurance running related injury it took weeks to finally get an appointment and when I did, it was over the phone, which I wouldn’t have minded too much, except the GP called me, then 30 seconds in said they had to attend to something and could they call back in 2 minutes. I was then left waiting for 1/2 an hour to be called back and when I finally was the phone call lasted 2 minutes 50 seconds?! This month I needed a GP signature on an occupational health form so wrote to the surgery to ask if they could get a GP to sign it and email it back. They said it was non-NHS work, so considered ‘private’ work and there would be a fee, to which I understood & agreed. They then told me it would not only take 6 weeks but cost me £180 (????) despite the fact it would take about 5 minutes or less to complete. I asked if they had measures in place for students like myself, or low-income earners as this fee is completely unreasonable but they said they don’t. So disappointed with this Gp surgery and would not recommend registering here to anyone.

Best surgery we’ve ever been registered with, getting an appointment is quick and simple and the doctors are all very good

The receptionists were nice, I was seen to very quickly, and the Doctor I saw was so very personable and kind. I was worried about going here because of the reviews but my experience was great. Thank you Mr Hryniewicki

When the University of Sussex failed to give me health insurance as an international student staying for only a term, this clinic was able to help me. They were very clear and organized. I was able to walk in and get the care I needed. The medication I needed was able to be filled that same day. The entire staff is just lovely and caring. I would recommend this clinic to any international students that need healthcare.

I have been a registered patient here for about 6-7 years now. Their service has never been outstanding but nothing to compare to how bad it is getting and no one seems to care about patients.... After having an eConsultation and an over the phone appointment my GP prescribed an ointment l went to the designated pharmacy as they didn't have it they give me the prescription and I tried in several pharmacies and till I was asked to call my GP to ask to change the prescription, I did and I was asked by the receptionist to call the following day to confirm that it has been change. To my surprise when I called there there were no doctors in the day so I would have to wait one more day...(would be the 4th day now) I called the 4th day to confirm that hopefully there it was a doctor in and that my prescription had actually been changed. It was changed, the receptionist proceed to tell me that the designated pharmacy was closed as it's a bank holiday and that i have to wait till after the holidays or change pharmacy. So I asked to change the pharmacy otherwise I would have to wait a total of a week to actually get the prescription to my surprise i walked past the pharmacy and it was OPEN i called back to see if it has been change already and to explain that it's actually open. The receptionist very RUDE told me that it has now been changed and that it can not be change again. So now I have 45min/1h walk to get the prescription that they fail to change in time... I told the receptionist that if someone care about patients? That people don't go to the doctor out of pleasure she said that she is just a receptionist... I told her that the service is getting worse and worse an the answer was that that't too bad... I don't understand how it is allowed to have this kind of service....

They don't even answer their phone. Travelled 30 mins, paid parking ticket to walk in, having read the website, everything looked fine, redressing's NOT dealt with -which is what I needed. Got there only to be told there was no nurse?!, so why were there people waiting on chairs and what is the point then? They should have notified people on the website in that case and closed the doors - no nurse equals NO SERVICE. Disappointing.

i’m a registered patient at the nhs but i’m not from the uk, i’m a foreigner. However when it came to my recent appointment, the doctor knowingly checked my mouth and stated i had a viral infection. When i mentioned having swollen tonsils for weeks their reply was “you just have big tonsils” my pain was completely disregarded and i was given no medicine for the pain or for the infection. I also had a previous throat infection a couple weeks ago which i said proving that i’m more prone to these, yet I was just told to take painkillers. Now i cant go to bed because of the pain and i’m just meant to “wait it out”. The appointment lasted 8 minutes in total and when I wanted to raise another concern i was told “i don’t have time for this” If you value your health physically and mentally, choose a different clinic. The receptionists were super nice though !

I’ve had mixed experiences over the 5 plus years I’ve been registered with with this practice. I do feel in recent years the wait times and appointment availability have gotten worse but I’ve always had good experience with the reception staff, doctors and practice nurses.
