Have now been in touch with customer service and system fault Is being looked in to .06/06/2022. Customer service is a joke, had a system fitted ,area to be fitted was given the ok as it was ina cupboard. Worked well for 4 to 6 months then it started cutting out, emailed themaftrr 24hrs got a reply saying overheating problem and it would be reset and turned downtown help. This has happened several times now and each time it has been reset after waiting g for reply from email.everyti.e saying heat problem or generation turned down .this defeats the object of having it if the power is reduced or takes longer to build up. Still doi g this have emailed plenty of times but no dry back , have now phoned and got someone e on the phone who said an engineer would call to arrange a home visit to fix problem . Still waiting for a call back and system has gone down again nearly 3 days and over a week waiting g for engineer to call.

The P3 Eco product is an excellent idea. Gives former electric car batteries a second life and reduces household peak time electricity consumption all year round. In the Summer on sunny days, a 6kWh battery plus a 4kW solar PV system is enough to mean no electricity is needed from the grid at all. In the winter, it still helps out by charging on cheaper, off peak electricity and then discharging during peak hours. Realistically, the system will take several years to pay for itself in terms of reduced electricity bills, but it is nevertheless very satisfying to know that your own home is doing nothing to increase the demand for electricity at 6pm, all year round.

I have had the G200 unit for 3 years now. It has failed 3 times, with the batterys being replaced twice, The battery's were replaced for a third time and at the moment the unit is working fine.

my battery has now been off for three weeks. the solution I have been offered is to turn it off and on again. I have done this several times and plugged the battery directly into my router. I am still unable to connect to the battery. I have mailed customer service several times. shameful. *Edit. I have been requested to change my review by Power Vault. I am happy to say things have improved, the battery seems more stable and contact relations seem to be getting better. I have upgraded from 1 to 3 stars. The on line portal to monitor the battery is good, you can schedule the way the battery operates and it does seem to work. So disappointed. After waiting months for my install. we had an issue that WAS NOT the fault of power vault which prevented us connecting the unit to our solar. This issue was resolved in 2 working days by a third party. however it then took a further two weeks for PV to come out and reconnect. Then the unit wouldn't work (new install?) I was told it was the inverter that was at fault. Powervault eventually came out and replaced the inverter after many failed attempts to get it working. The delay in fixing it was down to "however long it takes us to make a new one". It has eventually been replaced, again with new batteries. but guess what. It still doesn't function properly and I have been informed that the device "struggles to discharge when its fully charged". Well guess what. it struggles to charge too. instead of charging properly it trickle charges and feeds most back to the grid. and when you need the extra boost of what has been stored... what happens? nothing, it draws from the grid again. The only reliable thing about this unit is, you can rely on it to fail and therefor have to reset the unit by pressing the pin sized reset button. Customer service take so long to reply to your emails you don't know which mail they are replying to. (I haven't had a reply from my last mail dated 2nd of Sept and it snow the 9th). The last mail I did receive said they were working on my issues and I was top priority. I'm wondering if they have gone quiet at my last mail said I was fed up with the whole thing and wanted my money back.

I have had a lot of teething problems with my Powervault 3 battery that was installed 20th September. Since 7th November it does seem to be working properly but there has been trial and error to get it to this point. I would take issue with Powervault that I was not made aware that the system is still being developed all the time. As mine was not a totally standard installation, I feel that I have been something of a 'guinea pig'. I do believe that it is a sophisticated piece of kit with the potential to be even more sophisticated but at the moment the software is still being developed. I have to say that throughout the whole process the contractor, who came to the house, and all the staff of Powervault, that I have dealt with, have been outstanding in their helpfulness and courtesy.

Committed to customer service. Having had the battery installed for some time now, I am confident about the product and the support. When something would not work, they fixed it. When I needed to change my schedules, they gave clear advice. I am happy that I purchased this product, which I would recommend to anyone with Economy 7 or a decent solar system

We thought we had a problem with our unit but it turned out to be a a break in the sensor cable caused by a rat chewing through it and nothing to do with the unit at all. Thanks Powervault team for sorting it out and being so helpful.

We had the new P3 system installed in June 2019 and have made significant savings to date. I feel quite content knowing that our evenings are being battery powered and that for a large part of the day we are being battery powered. Last year with the G200 system we bought 1.7kW of electricity whilst generating by PV panels 5 MW some of which powered the household requirement and some of which was exported. All that is required is for the "Dashboard" to have incorporated into it a state of battery charge indicator as we cannot tell when the batteries are in need of top-up by Economy 7.
