a result of several conversations with same person: but last chat was with this unhelpful tech person knowing nearly nothing about gas kilns, was a bit like talking with a computer program. she holds back any associated information she thinks u don't [but seriously do] need, you have to prise it out of her or talk with some else to get anything useful. in short very reluctant to say any more than she needs. or maybe shes under orders that if anyone enquires about certain products to get rid of them fast as possible. seriously, pottery craft, don't bother with the excuse just record her next phone conversation and listen. just before pottery craft dropped gas kilns i very nearly bought one from them, until that was, i spoke with said person. it wasn't just that she knew nearly nothing about them but more the fact that she made you feel as if the conversation was not welcome. So i eventually found a used one but i know damn well that even now if i ask she wont tell me where the replacement shelves for those kilns went and any other parts they probably sold off cheap. she even ends every sentence with "we don't sell parts for them", [the previous conversations were when they did sell these kilns] which starts getting annoying after a while, sort of to reinforce the idea that you'll get no more information out of her ...ha-ha typical ... poor business model, more interested in its own preservative than customer satisfaction i mean its not rocket science to work out that i wont be spending money with this business in future

Closed for lunch!! surely the sales team should operate during opening hours ? Also just opened an expensive product from potterycrafts ltd , both damaged and no operating instruction manual , bad practice .

Technical Advisors were incredibly helpful and professional but sadly Potterycrafts are let down by a Sales team who missed items from my order. Even worse was the woeful response when ringing the Sales Advisor who appeared clueless about the products and made it quite clear they were far too busy to deal with my needs and concerns (I was also told I would have to wait until next week for an appropriate member of staff to assist me.) After spending a lot of money on my order, I would have expected a more professional service and certainly more sympathetic customer care. I would suggest Pottercrafts should perhaps consider employing more staff and better still, sales people who know their products.
