Potley Hill Preschool are absolutely fantastic! The staff are dedicated and highly trained, giving the children the best opportunities possible. The forest school is second to none and such a brilliant asset to the Preschool. My two children have passed through here and they still talk about their fun, years on! Couldn't recommend enough!

Our Son has been attending Potley Hill Pre-School for the last 12 months and we are thrilled with how he is developing. From day one he settled in really well. All the teachers and staff have been really welcoming, caring and supportive. We are really impressed with the variety of activities he gets involved with, visits to the day-care centre, nature walks, PE, Disco’s and healthy eating initiatives to name but a few. More recently at Potley Hill Pre-School, they have started to adopt the Curiosity Approach which encourages staff to create and inspire a culture of curiosity. This helps the children develop independent thinking, communication and problem solving skills (whilst having tonnes of fun!). All the staff have been so enthusiastic and excited about this approach and I have to say we have really noticed the change in our son who can’t wait to go to school each morning, he was disappointed when it was end of term! We are delighted with the progress our son is making and we are confident with all the support and care offered at this pre-school he will be ready emotionally, socially and mentally to make the next step to primary school in September. We highly recommend Potley Hill Pre-School, the team are outstanding – keep up the excellent work!

My little boy has been attending Potley Hill Preschool since February 2018. He absolutely loves it and all the staff there. Since Andrea took over and adopted the Curiosity approach, I have seen him thrive and learn without even realising he he is learning! It is like a home from home for them and all of the ladies are caring and so wonderful with the children. Even down to the little things like the fact that they visit the daycare centre and run a healthy snack station, it means that the children are learning more than skills to get them ready for school. I am so happy that I found Potley, I love the sense of community and just how happy my son is there. I will be so sad when he leaves to go to school, but so confident that he has been given the best preparation and has had the most fun before he goes up to school.

Our twin boys have attended this preschool for the last 5 terms, before moving on to primary school. I can't even express how happy we have been with the provision at Potley Hill Preschool. We looked at a number of preschools in the area and once with saw Potley Hill there was no competition at all! The environment was clean, bright and welcoming and the outside provision for the children was so attractive. The boys settled immediately into their life at the preschool and this is largely due to the outstanding care given by all the staff at the preschool. They all took time to get to know the boys so well - they were so clear about their interests and what motivates them to learn. On several occasions I know they adapted activities to ensure they were well tailored to the boys interests at that point of their life. When speaking with other mums and dads about the provision at their preschools I am so happy that we heard about and chose this preschool as in comparison to what I hear from others, I have no doubt that the staff and Potley Hill go over and above to ensure all children are well cared for, motivated to learn and just have the best foundation to the start of their learning. We have absolutely loved the preschool and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area who is looking. We can't wait for our next little boy to start there.

Potley Hill Community Preschool is a superior, top-notch preschool in the Blackwater/Yateley area. The manager and her staff provide support, comfort, and encouragement to both the children and parents. Both of my children attended the preschool and their time at this fantastic setting prepared them for the next steps in their learning journeys, both academically and socially. All of the ladies have the children's best interests at heart and treat each child as if they were their own. The setting is provides the perfect atmosphere for a growing child to explore, play, and progress. Potley Hill Preschool is, without a doubt, the best preschool in the area. I highly recommend checking it out and seeing how great it is!

My little boy goes to Potley Hill Preschool. I love him going there and he loves going there. He had been at home with me since he was a baby, so was a little worried about leaving him but the staff are all so lovely, you can see that they really care about the children. His social skills were a little behind his age group but with the help and support of the ladies there he is absolutely thriving. I have a 3 month old little girl and whilst I do not want to wish her life away, I can't wait for her to go here and see her become a well rounded little girl. I would recommend this preschool to anyone and often have. They have the perfect balance of fun and learning. Best preschool around in my opinion.

Both of our daughters have attended this preschool over the past 3 years. The youngest has just finished and it nearly broke my heart to leave. It's simply the most amazing and caring setting to choose for your child. The ladies here are totally focused on the children and do everything possible to ensure they are the happiest they can be. The manager always goes above and beyond with every child in her care to give them the best start in life. I can't recommend this preschool enough. It's simply outstanding and I'm glad that Ofsted recognises this too.

Manager is extremely rude and unprofessional they seem to judge children before getting to know them and letting them settle which gives them the wrong picture of the children they charge a registration fee of 25.00 but don't tell the parents this is a voluntary contribution. They also ask parents to provide snacks which is not what should be happening. Awful nursery awful manager. Being a practitioner myself and having worked in nurserys I would not recomend sending your child here until they sort out all underlying problems.

Fantastic preschool, can't praise it enough. Both our girls have thrived there, they loved going and made great progress so were (more than) ready for school when the time came.
