We discovered Positive 4 Paws on Google whilst searching for someone to help our two little shih tzus who were having some socialisation problems, both with humans and other dogs. Iain from Positive 4 Paws stood out with great reviews and comments and we must say we were not disappointed at all. After making contact with Iain, an initial (free-of-charge) consultation was arranged to have a chat about the problems we were having. He suggested a plan of action which we were very happy with and we booked our first group of sessions. These progressed very well and Iain was always very flexible should times or dates need to be changed. Further down the line, our boys have now graduated from school and their 'home training' is still going well with us. On our last session, Iain said to contact him in the future to let him know how the boys were getting on and not to hesitate to contact him in the meantime if we had any questions or concerns. Iain was brilliant and gave us the tools we needed to know what to do ourselves and to be able to continue to help and teach our boys to become the best they can be. It is a long road ahead as these things are not a quick fix but we are so happy that we now feel able to deal with the tricky situations we were facing when out on walks. Knowing that our boys themselves are happier and more confident because of what Iain taught us really does mean so much to us. Iain is extremely professional and knowledgable, he listened to any worries or questions we had and answered them in a clear way. We highly recommend Iain from Positive 4 Paws. Iain is an excellent trainer. His calm personable manner helps you to feel relaxed and able to take on board his suggestions. He has a great wealth of knowledge and is always happy to help if you have questions that are not part of the weeks training. This is our 3rd puppy and we only wish we had found him sooner and used him for our other 2-we learned so much more with him and are using our new knowledge with the other 2 older dogs now and getting great results.

I needed help with basic puppy training, for polite and obedient dog. We met with Iain, who was great... With pup and Me... I got bit emotional as I was so desperate to get things right. Iain didn't seem fazed at all, calmed me, gave me the confidence to carry on. My pup loved him, and we have carried on with training at home. I took on board lots of tips Iain shared and he was happy to answer all my random doggy questions. I am so happy I met with him and he's been in contact to see how things are going. Definitely recommend highly.

Love the Scentwork classes with Iain. Have done the beginner lessons and intermediate lessons too. Luna and Seren absolutely love it, they're very excited when we pull up in the car as they recognise the place and can't wait to get started. It's a great way to tire them out too, both are fast asleep in the car on the way home. Definitely a good way to bond with your doggos.
